Some biographical information:
Originally of Syracuse, New York, Lynette Abel grew up primarily in Alexandria,
Virginia. After attending Miami-Dade Jr. College, and Florida State University,
she moved to New York City where she worked for a time at a radio station,
then for the NYC Dept.of Education, and later for the architectural firm,
I.M. Pei & Partners. Now a writer, her articles have appeared
in newspapers throughout the U.S. on many issues--including economics,
road rage, and love.
She began her formal study of Aesthetic Realism
in consultations in 1972, and studied in classes with the American poet
and historian, Eli
Siegel from 1973-1978. Her education continues in professional
classes taught by Ellen
Reiss, the Class Chairman of Aesthetic Realism.
Ms. Abel has appeared with the esteemed Aesthetic
Realism Theatre Company in many of its musical events, including
its production of songs and comment, "Ethics Is a Force!'--Songs
about Labor," and recently in "Celebrating
Rock 'n' Roll, the Opposites, and Our Greatest Hopes!"

Along with being a singer, Ms. Abel also plays
the flute, an instrument she has studied for many years with musician and
flutist,
Barbara Allen.
She is married to Michael Palmer,
retired radio news and sportswriter, and they live in Greenwich Village.
